I Am Over the Science Blog Wars
This is not a criticism of anyone but myself. But continuing to read or engage in exchanges governed by malice, willful misunderstanding, academic insecurity and lack of introspection will be my undoing. I cannot do it anymore.
It will also induce me to be intellectually lazy. Which would not be good.
I can't sleep, and I just had to get that off my chest.

Please let me know if you figure out a way to do this... I have been trying (no, really, I have), but it's really hard. I need more will power.

Haha, I keep mine happy just to counterbalance. Oh yeah, and out of fear for being "outed". And yes, what a time sink! Less inane than Facebook, at least.
Facebook! AHHHH! I actually deleted my Facebook page months ago. I think I am the only person in the country without a Facebook page. Even my curmudgeonly boyfriend has a Facebook page! I'm counting the days until I'm peer-pressured into relaunching it.
If anyone needs a blog, it's a professor. You all have got to hold on to sanity somehow. You may not survive otherwise. :)
